In Madrid!

Castille and Leon are so different from green Asturias and Galicia.

Presently checked into “ The Hat”

À really nice hostel in Madrid. The metro was undergoing repairs at the station I wanted but I walked thanks to ( and sometimes cursing ) Google Maps. It is very hot here. Just had a “ vino de verano” which was very refreshing and going out for an evening stroll.

I am booking a day trip to Toledo for one of my days here. one of the options was a zip- line ride but after a little thought I decided against it! I think the El Grecos will be enough of a thrill for me.
