A different sky

My first cloudy day

This picture is taken from a spot where my daughter often stops to “ calm down” and I can see why. We tried sitting on a bench but we were not dressed for the cold wind off the sea. Maybe you can see a black spot on the shore which is, in fact, an intrepid soul who is dressed in a wet suit. She plunged into the waves and was then followed by a companion dressed only in bathing trunks. Brrr..

The view the other way

The sky was very beautiful yesterday and we even had a couple of showers of huge raindrops. Garden watering continues for “ the last rose of summer”

It has a dreamy scent

I wonder if anyone knows what this strange pinecone is? A fitting end to my walk yesterday was this different looking and beautiful thing.
