This is when Galician folks show off their costumes and bands. I had never heard of this saint despite a good Catholic upbringing. I think I would have remembered à saint who let à wolf eat the donkey carrying his documents because he was busy praying. As soon as he twigged to what had happened, he made the wolf carry the documents!
Is wearing traditional rain gear made of straw! Some gentlemen even had straw gaiters!
Their hand made petticoats and even the kids and doggies got into the act!
It was a lovely morning session of people showing off their costumes and small bands marching around without too much rhyme or reason!
