showed up late last evening. We all stayed in the same room. Chris, on the left whom I know from my 2021 Camino is a true stalwart and I will be glad to start walking tomorrow with her. Dorothy is Chris’ friend and it is her first Camino. The two of them just went out to see the Holy Thursday procession. Anna told me that one prisoner is released on this day. She showed me a picture of last year’s ceremony when a man was standing with a hood over his head up at the altar being forgiven. I must say Spanish religion seems a bit spooky to me.

Anna kindly took us to the only vegetarian restaurant in town. Not a trace of ham to be seen! Dorothy( in green was very happy)

The crew taking over are four men so something tells me Anna’s regime will be somewhat modified.

I am very tired this evening and have stayed in the nice reception of the clean and modern facility from which we will leave tomorrow, the others went to the castle and to church.
