Writing under a Montreal sky

Irises and daffodils
Tulips are just coming out and some lovely plum blossoms too
I love when trees bloom before they have leaves. A mark of trust!

People are still walking around with winter coats and scarves and then some runner zooms by in shorts. It’s sunny and 25 degrees.

I’m staying in a hostel which means I have impeccable sheets and huge pillows and towels! ( unheard of on the Camino!) Off for a walking tour of the city tomorrow and my partner from last year is supposed to call me with a meet up spot for Sunday. only trouble is I understand about half of what he says on the phone and have no Madrid points of reference. Ah well, that’s tomorrow

Ooooh, Iso, I am so jealous. We are up north, cold and dreary with a dreadful wind this morning, now fading as, I am told, we are heading into a weekend of freezing rain. The lake is covered, the birds are few, and no drip drip of melting snow. Aren’t you missing us and your homeland. Haha. Have fun. Love to you

Well, there are little unforeseen things like a shower that loud out icy water and then the faucet comes off in your hand. I got into the next stall. Comfy water that automatically turned off after 8 seconds , push the button 30 times and get… clean!
