It Took a Long Time to get Here

But…. Don’t try to make juice. These are the “ bitter” ones that decorate the notoriously narrow sidewalks of this ancient city.

My dear friend from the Camino of 2021, Christiana, is hosting me in her interesting and comfortable home in Holargos.

Swiss Air took care of me on the evening flight out of Montreal and I managed to sleep! No one was in the seat beside me, always a plus.

I had to be woken up for coffee, croissant and chocolate. The lay-over in Zurich was way too long-lesson learned.

It was rainy and dark in Athens yesterday evening so I was glad to have a quiet evening at home with Christiana. Slept like a top so next day it was time to go to the museum… no, not that one – the National Gallery where only works by Greek nationals are displayed. What an eye opener! I’ll do a bit more research and write more about that / take it as you will . A promise or a threat!
