On Monday I got an email asking if I would like to come on as a guest on the daily radio show of the CBC broadcasting company here in Montreal. I had two day’s notice because the invitation was for Wednesday. It was made in response to an article of mine that CBC had published earlier this month. Radio Noon is a call-in show. The article was explained and partially read as an incentive to callers giving their reactions.
I had the option to do the show with Google Meet Up which is similar to Zoom but I really wanted to have the studio experience so, off I went on the Metro.
The producer Aislinn May made me welcome, brought me a glass of water and tested the big headphones and we were off! Shawn was a great host and I really enjoyed the experience. I got lots of kind comments from friends this afternoon and evening and appreciated the unusual experience. Oh , my hair is a mess because of the headphones. We had to hurry up and take the photos before they started the news bulletin.
