Autumn Surprises

The white duck

The ducks and geese in my own urban park never get together but this white duck seemed perfectly happy swimming about in the midst of a flock of Canada Geese. I’ve never seen a white duck here before.

No idea!

    This fungus is edible and is called CHICKEN OF THE WOODS. It actually does taste like chicken when cooked!

      You’re kidding! How amazing that this is growing in a city park with squirrels, geese, ducks and other city critters around. How come they don’t eat it?

        I don’t know why they don’t eat it! However, I too wouldn’t eat it at this point in case I have it wrong! Look up edible fungus growing on trees and you will get lots of photos and details!
