Exploring the Camino Invierno

A cat walking the line!

I started out this morning to take a look at the trail I hope to start walking next week. I soon got out of the busy part of town and found myself on a trail walked by very few people so here are a few flowers to herald Spring.

Lilac while I was still in the city limits
Celandine’s, a childhood favourite
I thought this might be white heather

But the flower info says Spanish broom

Poppies, of course
Rock rose

I didn’t know this but I really like it!

This is the broom I know from Britain

Yes, this way, I said

There are no shops or cafes. I saw about 8 people in all while walking out of town. The great luxury was the silence, the bird song and the lovely butterflies who, in the way of butterflies, would not let me take their picture. However, lovely walk.
