Writing under a Montreal sky

It has been very windy the past couple of days here on the island. This exacerbated a head-cold? Allergies? that I had felt hovering around. My niece to the rescue…, soupitsa Thia! “ a little soup my eye! A quarter of a pound of beef with potatoes and some sorting grain was scarfed down and some sort of dynamite cold pill that Greeks swear by. I was much better today even though the wind is blowing a gale.

Get that down you!
Choppy on the lagoon

We had fun with Katy’s grandson. We had lentils for lunch… Demosthenes ( yes, that’s his name)!added several sardines and kipper chunks to his! He was off to the soccer field then and we two gals indulged in ice cream and a stunning view. I am warned that summer clothes will be needed tomorrow but… we will see.

The oranges here are wonderful!
Can you see the tiny figs?

Katy makes preserves from them.

Now in my comfy air bnb and preparing to do a zoom session on how to pitch articles. The wonders of technology!
